JapanxReader- Under the Nagasaki Arch The country of Japan was a war torn place, its cities now ruins and its empire now obliterated by a nuclear attack. Buildings were gone and people were littering the streets, dead and dying. The radiation doused the air, deforming it with its toxic substances. Flower beds and rock gardens were nothing more than sticks and sand among the concrete, but one structure stood tall and strong, it's simple design showing hope that the country would recover: The Nagasaki Arch.
